It sounds like there might be a software issue with your phone that's causing it to freeze and restart when you receive a call. One possibility is that there's a conflict between the phone's operating system and the phone app that you're using to answer calls.
Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:
Restart your phone: Sometimes simply restarting your phone can solve many software-related problems.
Clear the cache and data of the phone app: Go to your phone's settings, then "Apps" or "Applications", find the phone app, and select "Storage". From there, you can clear the cache and data of the app. This will remove any temporary files or data that may be causing the problem.
Reset the phone app preferences: In your phone's settings, go to "Apps" or "Applications", then select the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner and choose "Reset app preferences". This will reset all app preferences to their default settings, which may help fix any issues.
Update your phone software: Make sure your phone is running the latest software version. You can check for updates in your phone's settings under "Software update".
If none of these steps work, you may want to contact your phone's manufacturer or a professional technician for further assistance.

@Shovzki: If the problem persists following the steps provided by @igiveanswer, please can you confirm if the issue occurs on all incoming calls? Also, is the phone in an idle or locked state when you receive the call, or are you using it at the time? If it's the latter, please try heading to the Phone app > Tap the 3 dots in the top right > Settings > Call display while using apps, and choose an alternative option (Full screen, Small pop-up or Mini pop-up). You could also try toggling on/off 'Keep calls in pop-up' to see if this helps.

@Shovzki this happened to me so I cleared the phone's System Partition Cache Files Section.
> Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files. There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too.
If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate. Take care. 😎

Hello,
Had this problem since i bought my phone and it took me near insanity, since i use it A LOT for work...
Done all the tests you mention here and in a ton of forums... Nothing worked.
It is important to say that i use 2 Sim's and the way i solved this was quite simple... I changed the main "Phone" app to the Google alternative.
It stopped having this issue, which immediatelly made me see that the issue is with the "Phone" app from Samsung.
I've tried only with the Google Phone App but i assume this might work with any other app that manages the calls.
Hope this helps.
Thank you
