Hi everyone,
For the last two weeks, my S22 Ultra has been crashing at random times and keeps on restarting automatically. Yeah the S22 Ultra is the Exynos version. It happens when I try to open even Youtube. I have turned off the Auto restart setting as well. After going through the initial Samsung logo, it restarts for like 5 to 6 times (or even more sometimes), then the One UI apps optimizing opens up and the restart completes. But this crashing happens randomly. I tried clearing the cache memory, but that did not help. Finally, I did the factory reset. Still, the problem persists.
Has anybody got the same problem? Does anyone have a solution? Is my ultimate solution to visit Samsung Care Centre?
Thank you in advance.
Regards,
Sudip

what was the total cost ? or was your phone still under warranty?

Hi @sudip21 ,
Did you get any resolution to this from the community or Samsung's team, apart from changing the motherboard? That shouldn't be the ideal case, right? It's their mistake that because of the update they released, we are all facing this crashing issue. Currently, my device has the 1st July 2024 security patch and One UI version 6.1. It would be nice if we could escalate this to Samsung and tag them.

Oh my God. Please help. I'm having the exact same problem, and it's even closer to what one guy said: "If I use 4G, everything is fine. The moment I turn on Wi-Fi, it crashes and restarts." My S22 started having this annoying issue just 3 days ago. I want to punch this phone so badly. It literally started happening on a random day. I can't find any solution. Please help. My phone has been purchased for 1 year and 11 months. My only solution seems to be a motherboard replacement. How long is the warranty in the EU? It's literally impossible to live like this, and I need this repaired.

That's exactly what I'm dealing with. Did you figure it out? 😞😞😞😞

This is what I am running, updated to 6.1 a few days ago, and cannot use it for more than a few minutes without it crashing and restarting.
If it is the update, no amount of fixing, wiping / restarting will do anything until they fix the update, which Samsung don't seem in a hurry to do.

Exactly the same, phone isn't even 2 yrs old yet.
Been fine all day on 4G, soon as I get home and it connects to wifi, it's pretty much unusable.
Booked in to repair shop this weekend. Not sure what they can do though if it is all down to a dodgy Samsung update.

Yes, I'm going to send it for repair as well. It seems to be the only solution.
