S22 ultra Crashing and restarting

Hi everyone,

For the last two weeks, my S22 Ultra has been crashing at random times and keeps on restarting automatically. Yeah the S22 Ultra is the Exynos version.  It happens when I try to open even Youtube. I have turned off the Auto restart setting as well. After going through the initial Samsung logo, it restarts for like 5 to 6 times (or even more sometimes), then the One UI apps optimizing opens up and the restart completes. But this crashing happens randomly. I tried clearing the cache memory, but that did not help. Finally, I did the factory reset. Still, the problem persists.

Has anybody got the same problem? Does anyone have a solution? Is my ultimate solution to visit Samsung Care Centre?

Thank you in advance.

Regards,

Sudip

Update: With the new update if you go to the "auto optimisation" setting in the device care section and turn it off it seems to solve the problem.

Unfortunately Samsung are straight to "send device in for repair" rather than helping you troubleshoot. My phone managed to last without a single issue since I turned off that setting (which has previously never caused any issues). Personally i think what might have been happening is that the phone would have had some corrupted code in the last update that hasn't been patched related to the optimisation feature and it was causing the phone to protect itself with immediately switching off. I suspect potentially a resistance issue in the motherboard causing the processor to overload and shut down.

Please not that when I turned off Auto optimisation it was still showing me that it hadn't actually done a restart in 466 days but given my phone is now operating fine I think its bugged.

I hope yall can try this and hopefully its fixed. Please comment if this helped

I am also facing the same issue, updated to UI 6.1 and facing the same random crashed and reboot loops.

I have the auto optimisation disabled and yet still facing the same issues

have just picked up my phone from the repair shop... cost me £130 , I have stressed the device to the max with downloading UI 6.1 , all Google play and Samsung apps  and charging the device all at the same time.... all seems to be working fine at the moment.... repair shop tech said that there was a problem with something on the motherboard and the part was replaced, he also said that he had another S22 Ultra brought in to the shop last week with the exact same problem..... makes me wonder if the problem is indicative to the year of manufacture????? I'll discover when my device was made...

Final update from me:

My phone was only "fixed" for a day with the auto optimisation hack and has since started the restart loop again whenever it gets a bit laggy. Im sending it into Samsung for repair. Hopefully they replace the motherboard like the rest of yall.

Thanks for your patience

only way I could get my device from being in a continuous boot loop was to place it in the freezer for a few mins....I know this going to sound weird.... but now the phone would freeze when navigating the system settings.... had to then force a restart..... have managed to eventually clear the cache and do a full factory system reset.....

Same issue on my S22+

I think it was the 6.1 update. Last two days I noticed 4 random reboot. I tried to disable all new IA features and for now all is right. :hand-with-index-and-middle-fingers-crossed:
