S22 ultra android auto

getting a message saying to use a compatible usb cable on using android auto but it's the same one I've used from the start? Confused as android auto isn't working at all.

@badgerbright: Are you using the USB cable that came packaged with your Galaxy S22 Ultra? If so, does the cable function as expected in other instances, such as when you're charging the device? Can you try heading to the Samsung Members app (swipe up from your Home Screen > Samsung folder > Samsung Members) > Press and hold on the app icon > Diagnostics > USB connection, and follow the on screen prompts. Does this test flag any issues?

The cable I got with the phone is a USB c to c cable but it is a Samsung cable from a phone less than a year

S22 Ultra will not connect via AA. Tried various cables. Google have known of the issue since launch but still no fix. Does anyone have any solutions?
