A strange way to explain... but i am assuming that right now your battery is sometimes draining quicker than other times, and it is temperamental.
Usually there is a reason for this. A rogue app perhaps. Or some 'bad data' held in the cache of the phone memory that causes this drain.
Personally I would offer the following advice.
- wait for the new UI update. When it arrives then first do a backup of your important files, contacts, messages and photos with google account.
After the update has occurred and installed then do a full factory reset. Treat this like a 'new phone' where you synchronise your contacts, photos and messages but do not synchronise the apps between them.
Install all the apps you need again from the stores. Starting with the more important apps. Be aware that you may need to remember some passwords to re-enter some apps, but your password manager in google should have these saved.
This whole factory reset will give you the cleanest installation. Sometimes when phones are 'updated' they end up with some kind of hybrid version that can cause some issues.
From experience I did this with my s21u and my s23u... and this made a big different to my phone performance. Also it is like receiving a new phone again... and acts as a bit of a 'spring clean'. However it takes a bit longer to do it this way.
