Have other users experienced that the battery drains faster with the new update? I usually take my phone off the charger at 10 pm, turning off all services (mobile data, wi-fi, etc.) and in the morning, when my alarm goes off at 6:15 am, I'm usually at 95 percent. 88 percent with One UI 5.1 system, and even during daytime use, the battery drains noticeably faster.

Maybe try clearing the partition cashe on the phone.
Normally will help things out a bit if you have any rogue cookies or software

I'd try restarting your phone a couple of times over a 2-3 day period. Then give it a few days to see if it optimises and improves.
I always cringe when I get any sort of software update. Just because of a fear of them introducing a new bug.

Wipe cache partition seems to have solved the problem.
