S22 new device not synced videos to gallery

Hey all

My old s22 screen smashed last week and I have a new one via insurance. I restored everything when I got the new phone but all of my videos and some of my photos haven't synced from the old gallery to the new. I have google photos and one drive and they're on there but not gallery (also alot of albums are not there too) I managed to back my phone up when my old screen smashed but I'm not sure what's gone wrong. I'm really not too tech savvy so forgive me! If anyone can help I'd appreciate it.

Have checked all hidden albums etc but they're not there 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

If you still have your old device I would try connecting that phone via dex to a monitor and seeing if you can find it

I can't take credit for that idea, it was from a post earlier in the month

I am sure you can find online how to do that if your not sure

Hiya thanks, sadly I don't as I had to hand it over when they gave me.a new device. They're all on my one drive etc and I backed up so unsure why they aren't in gallery. I've swapped phones that way before and it's never not synced videos in my gallery

I had the same problem when I lost my S8+ after it give up and I set up my new S22ultra with everything from the Google Photo's and onedrive but the Gallery didn't transfer over so I had to start all over again.

So annoying isn't it! I don't understand why none of the videos are on there atall! Never had that before and I've smashed ALOT of phones!😂
