Having major problems with my S22 ultra first of all I can't update the phone keeps saying failed update contact Samsung service. Now I've tried to clear cache and the phone won't shut down fully just keep restarting when I turn it off. Tried to do a factory reset and that doesn't work either. Any help would be grateful

I've seen around 7 posts about that today, I didn't have this problem and I don't know if there is a fix for it yet

No problems with my phone, sounds like you need to do a restore of the phone software or take it back.

Just out of interest did the phone work normally out of the box? Or start after you installed a load of apps or did you use Samsung smart switch to transfer your data from one phone to another.

I can't do a factory reset as phone won't let me turn it off. Just auto restarts. I used smart switch from my 21 ultra and no problems with that phone at all. I don't run many apps. Phone works fine spotted the problem when tried to install latest firmware update

Just my opinion I would not touch anything like smart switch or copy images of operating systems from any device to another ever, I've an IT background and I'm no phone expert but software like this causes nothing but problems.

I'd let the phone run out of battery and try and install the phone software via a PC, I've not done this before but google would give you all the info you need. Before that I'd try and uninstall every app that's not on the phone as standard just to see what happens.

If nothing above works send it back.
