Hi @Blakecuss
Like @OmegaMutant said, factory reset is the last resort. That usually solves anything that has been introduced by any app.
You mentioned that the phone keeps rebooting, but it lacks details.
Does it keep rebooting at boot time? Does it fully boot up and then reboots immediately? Or does it work for a time and then reboots randomly?
If it is the third option, does the phone reboot with only the stock apps?
If the phone boots up and works for a short time, you could try booting the phone in safe mode. It will show if there is an app that might be causing the reboot. Please see the support page below for rebooting in safe mode.
https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode/
If after that the phone keeps rebooting, then taking it to a Samsung support centre might the only option.
Good luck.

Same issue, I’ve tried everything. I cleaned the cables and the inside of the phone, disconnected and reconnected the internal cables, but the phone still keeps restarting. Despite all of this, it continues. I also opened the phone, cleaned the connectors, and checked that everything was properly reconnected, but nothing has fixed the issue. I’m still stuck with the same problem and no solution for now.
The phone restarts randomly, and I doubt it’s the processor since it works fine. It tends to restart often when I perform tasks that don’t require much energy from the phone. I’m thinking it might be the battery or the PMIC. I’m going to order a new battery for my S22+ to see what happens.
To be continued.
I’ve contacted Samsung support at least 50 times and spoke to 50 different agents, but no one has wanted to do anything. I’ve also contacted Orange, but they refuse to do anything, even though the issue appeared during the warranty period. A scandal.

I had a similar issue on my S22+, and it happened after updating the software on the phone in Oct-Nov 2024. The service center asked for around Rs 35k to repair it. They mentioned that the motherboard is bricked and this cannot be resolved without replacing it. I tried multiple factory resets, cache partition wipes, and everything, but nothing worked. I went to some local repair guy, and he said he would charge Rs 2k for the repair. He did repair the motherboard, and it worked just fine after that. A couple of days later, the issue started happening again. I realized one thing: my mobile is crashing when it is under heavy load. Did some benchmark runs, and as expected, it crashed. I was exploring settings to limit CPU usage and decided to dial down the refresh rate to 60 Hz. It's been almost a month, and the phone hasn't crashed after that. It looks like the phone was unable to handle refresh rate of 120 Hz and was crashing because of that. I personally don't have any issue running my phone on 60 Hz as long as it works.
If the solution does not work, I'd suggest getting the battery changed first and then going for motherboard replacement. When I asked the service center how they'd diagnose the issue, they simply said it's a motherboard issue, and we know this. No proper procedure was mentioned by them. I asked them to replace the battery first, but they were reluctant to do that and suggested simply getting the motherboard replaced. Sometimes a phone's battery is unable to deliver the required voltage to the phone, and it simply crashes when under load. I faced a similar issue in 2020 with my Motorola phone. A simple battery replacement solved the "phone crashing randomly" issue on Motorola.
One more thing, never do a software update after the warranty period. It's been a regular trend wherein phones brick after updating software. My OnePlus 8 Pro suffered from the same issue, and the entire screen turned green after the update. The S22+ is just another case. From now on, I won't be updating any phone's software after the warranty period is over.
