Random Crashes/Restarting

Hi I have been using the S22 Ultra from release and have had a few problems that mostly have been solved now, by the updates that Samsung have release so far... But there is still one major problem I have and was hoping all you helpfull people on the forum, would help me out by answering the following questions...

1. Does your phone randomly crash and reboot?

2. How often?

3. If it is crashing are you using the stock Launcher UI or Nova 7 Launcher?

You can tell it's crashed because you have to enter your pin, and cannot use your fingerprint until this has been entered. It mostly crashes when I'm not using the phone when it's just left on the desk or charging overnight.

I also believe this is causing crashes to S21 series phones as well, as there are quite a few people reporting crashes on there's too.

I think there is a problem with Nova 7 as it only seems to do these random restarts with Nova 7 set as the Launcher, I keep submitting the screen shots below when it does crash to Samsung to try to get to the bottom of the problem, but am yet to hear back for them... Could be a while lol

It doesn't crash here with Nova. It just doesn't crash at all. If you think it is Nova then you can can submit the crash log to them. Also try with clean Nova install and see how it behaves

Thanks for your advice but I am using the default system UI along side homeup (part of goodlock) and it seems much better including the battery life 😀

Hi mate, UPDATE since I had a new Mother board all seems to be working..touch wood, how os your phone?

Hiya mine has been fine and not crashed for a while now but I do think it was because of the nova launcher that I was running it was causing all the crashing.. glad yours is sorted you can start to enjoy the phone without the worry of it crashing.

Hi Gazza how is you phone been since the motherboard swop? mine has crashed twice this week aaarrhh might have to send it in..

Hi mate mine has been good since I got a new motherboard 3 weeks ago. I would really recommend it, make sure to back up to samsung account and Google and get them to do smart switch. 😉

Hi Hussain, I did manage to get it resolved but the bad news is you might need a full motherboard replacement like I had to have, since that has been done I have had no random restarts and the system is running much faster now. Nova has not crashed since either been a month or so now. Just get it booked in as soon as you can it will be night a day difference after it has been done. Good luck.
