When im listening to music or watching videos over AKG USB-C original Samsung earphones, sound ocasionaly after a while audio started getting distorted - Its totaly random. It happens randomly, but when it starts, its goes on and on every few seconds. Pause the video/music and resume, makes it go away, but starts again in few seconds. when this happened, i disconnected the earphones to see if it will continue over speakers, but it didnt. Over speakers plays no problem. Then i tried another original AKG samsung earphones, and it was again distorted every few seconds. Earphones are not the problem-they are all original, tried 3 of em and they are not the cause.
Fact 1: audio gets distorted, and when it does, it dosent stop untill reboot.
Fact 2: audio gets distorted ONLY when i have connected USB TYPE C earphones (all original from Samsung)
Fact 3: audio plays normal on speakers on every volume
Fact 4: i booted in safe mode, also was playing normal with no distortion.
Fact 5: i tried with or without DOLBY ATMOS-didnt fixed distortion, was still distorted
After i reboot in safe mode, it played normal again, now after few hours , didnt came back. i rebooted back into normal mode, and issue atm didnt returned. but it will, since last time it did.
Im trying to figure out what causes it. (hardware or software).??
I have April update firmware and I already did factory reset after updating. Didnt helped. Since its random, and it happens only when using earphones, maybe usb-C need too get firmware fix? I read old s21 forums, some people got firmware updates for usb-c connector.
Maybe April,s Firmware S906BXXU1AVCJ did something to audio driver in S22+??? and need to be fixed in next updates?
Any help would be apreciated. What else can i try when audio distorsion comes back?
Samsung, FIX this!!!! (or im thinking returning the device)

Bought an A54 a month ago. I wanted to keep my Sennheisers MX375 earphones so I got myself a 3.5mm adapter/dongle/whateveryoucallit and this atrocious audio glitch started appearing after few days. From once a day to once every few minutes, making something in theory as simple and basic as listening to music, infuriating if not borderline impossible.
My first thought was the adapter itself, as it was a definite cheap ass one, wire housing feeling soft and wobbly, and so I got myself the original Samsung one. Worked a charm for a week straight untill suddenly this audio cackle s#it r4ped my ears again today.
Thought I'll be going mental. Been diggin through the web for a bit, and found this thread which makes me a tiny bit calmer knowing I'm not a solitary one with such issue, but seeing you guys 've been at it for two years with no official fix or even a statement back is astounding.

Also having same issue with my a54 using Samsung akg wired headphones...

Exactly same issue. Trying this, trying that - nothing helped. And than I remembered that problem started after installation of Viber. Viber removed - problem solved.

Confirming this is not just S series issue. I've been using a new A54 5G for the last half year and exactly the same audio distortion problem as is described here just started appearing on this device yesterday, with Koss Porta Pro headphones connected to USB C via DD Hifi TC35b DAC. Before yesterday I've been using this setup daily without an issue.
Regarding the possible connection to Viber app - ever since the second last OS/OneUI update, a dialog popup appears everytime I plug in the headphones asking me if I want to allow Viber to use it. I always choose No. Again it hasn't been an issue until yesterday even with Viber installed, although something definitely changed regarding that app since that update.
Samsung, how about you stop focusing on all that rather useless AI ***** everybody is so keen to advertise nowadays and start to address real and serious problems coming from your already existing customers? Otherwise soon you won't have many people to advertise the AI ***** to.

I am also facing same problem in Samsung Galaxy A54.

Can confirm it wasn't there when Viber was not installed. Uninstalled it and will see if it happens again.

If someone knows how to report a bug to Samsung, please do.
But jugging by the fact that even this forum is not working properly, there is a slim chance of them fixing this bug anyway...
Hi all,
Picking up on PanicMechanic's post there to hopefully move this forwards for all of you guys. Best way to report a software bug is through the Members app error reporting feature and sending software log files that way.
As soon as you can after the issue occurs (within 15 minutes is best):
Samsung Members > Support > Send feedback > Error Reports > [select error type] > choose frequency of issue, and write an accurate and good description (and attach any screenshots/pictures/videos showing the issue if you want/are able to) > tick ‘Send system log data’ > Send (the > icon on the top right).
(Or, for a shortcut: Long-press the Samsung Members icon on the Apps screen, and select 'Error reports' from the dropdown menu, and follow the steps from there.)
That will send that report and log files for the Samsung developers to analyse.
Further guidance on how to send error reports here if you need it: https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/mobile-apps-services/samsung-members-app-how-to-send-an-error-re...
The more error reports with log files that capture an issue that get sent to the developers the better for producing a fix.
(For hardware-related issues it's best to have your device looked at by an approved Samsung Support/Service Centre.)
