S22 LED View Cover randomly stops displaying notifications.

Hello,

I have a new S22 and smart LED case, for some reason, notifications just stop working randomly on it, when getting a notification 50% of the time it will either show the icon on the LED cover or just vibrate and not show.

Sometimes even when I have notifications and I close the case again, it will think I don't have any.

I have tried lots of various things to diagnose it, but I think its a software bug, I have gone as far as disabling battery optimisations for the LED service and NFC service but still nothing cured it.

I have uninstalled, reinstalled the LED app, still intermittent.

This sounds more of a software issue to me than hardware, but its really annoying for such an expensive case.

Before people start asking:

• I have set up the app correctly or it would not show any of the notifications to begin with
• I have reinstalled the app
• I have rebooted phone
• I have disabled battery optimisations for NFC, LED and the LED option app

Any help appreciated.

Mines the same, randomly stops working for half a day, then suddenly stops working, I may be absolutely stupid but I can't even get specific notifications for certain people on my contact list??

So my case had a weird glitch yesterday, where, it stopped working, I opened up the LED app (which did not show), then it showed, I opened the app up, noticed the notifications and calls toggle was switched off, very odd. Since then it's been absolutely fine. Not had an issue since.

In the meantime I did ask for a replacement so sending the possibly broken one back (Amazon). The replacement has turned up today, I have fitted and seems fine (but so did the other one, but hey ho, taking one for the team).

Regarding contact list and other features that are from certain people, you have to be using the Samsung Messages app, not the default Android one (i noticed this when trying out the raise and vibrate if got a message feature was not working), soon as I use the Samsung Messages, it works.

I have just traded in my old S8 on a S22 Ultra and added an LED case. Used Smart Switch to transfer  all the data. NFC worked fine on the old phone and tells me it is working fine on the new one but not a squeak out of it when needed. This is a problem as I used it not just for Paywave (Google Pay) but also to verify logons when using my public transport card. And yes, I have tried every fix I can find. Except ditching the LED case. That comes next.
