Photo disappearing from albums and gallery

Hi, so a whole bunch of my pics just gone missing from albums and gallery?

Can anyone help?

Did you backup your photos? Google photos? If you didn't I don't think anyone can help you

I'm sure they are backed. I moved them to a album but they've just disappeared?

I don't get it...why would pictures just get removed?

You could search for them on your phone in "my files" app

How did you back them up? Moving them to another folder isn't backing it up

Download Goigle Photos. You can backnthem up there. Google offers 15GB free storage across all its services. You have an option to upload photos with a reduced resolution.

Second option, is to enable sync with OneDrive. It offers 5GB of free storage. 

For both Google and OneDrive, you can buy a subscription for additionele storage.

Another option is to back up your photos on an external Drive (SSD/pen drive).

Check your Gallery recycle bin. Hopefully you enabled that at an earlier time.
Also check Google Drive incase they got backed up automatically to it.
