OneUI 6.1 Facing issues on Galaxy S22 Series yet again.

image
Red 'delete' box remaining on phone after restarting.

From the green line issue, to multiple settings moving around to become less accessible on the Galaxy S22 Series, the OneUI 6.1 update has been plagued with issues from the start.

While reorganising the app drawer, I was taken to the home screen where I had to delete the app using the top section of the phone, due to a lack of space. After having done this, I was surprised to discover that after having briefly turned off my Galaxy S22 series device, I discovered that the red box indicating there was no room left to place the app was still left on the home screen, like a ghost. I tried interacting with the area of the screen to get it to disappear and swiping to other screens, yet nothing seemed to happen, and the red ghost stood there with me unable to do anything about it.

After the OneUI 6.1 Update for the Galaxy S22 Series being delayed for weeks after the green line issue spotted on Galaxy devices, I would have thought that the developers would have had time to polish the update before its release, but it turns out that wasn't the case.

Whilst I have experienced issues regarding the home screen before, from invisible apps taking up space on the screen, to the home screen taking over 5 seconds to respond, I would have thought that at this stage of development, samsung would have fixed these sorts of issues. Needless to say, they haven't, so I would like to see theses sorts of bugs patched in the next OneUI 6.1.1 update.

Since this last update, 6.1, impossible to activate the WIFI and Bluetooth on FOLD 4. Mobile is a bit more than 1 year old.

Recovery doesn't work, no accessible. resetting connections, factory etc doesn't work

Startup of the phone takes ages, startup screen freezes for hours.

And thats just the beginning I guess...

I am having the same issue with my S22 Ultra.  And the clock on the lock screen change color from white to orange, which wouldn't be terrible if it wasn't completely messing with my OCD.  The "Edit Lockscreen" link in the bottom of the Lockscreen and AOD section in setting doesn't work either.

I had this problem too and it would not go away, even when changing my wallpaper it didn't go away, turns out all i had to do was move an app or a map around and it was gone. So like some other people said, its probably the map selection box.

My Optus S22 ultra received the usual Samsung prompts to install One UI 6.1
Following update it failed to reboot.
Stuck at the third Samsung Galaxy icon shown at start up since 10am yesterday.
Attempting a reboot Vol Down plus power reboots phone to the same place.
Eventually a corrupt app data message appeared. Attempted restart failed.
Next attempt cleared cache entered safe mode.
Enough to get my data. At this point screen touch didn't respond but stylus worked.
Safe Mode lasted 30 minutes before it froze and would not restart.
Reboots now only return to the 3rd Samsung boot icon again.
Won't turn off and heats up. Left to drain battery overnight.
Parking it in hope of an update.
Annoyed.
Cheers

My S22 keeps randomly restarting and often takes 15 minutes in a restart loop. I gave noticed it getting rather hot but not always during the random restart. Reliability is essential with the way we use our phones these days. I'm not happy.

I am currently experiencing issues with calling. People can hear me when I'm on a call but I can't hear them.
