OneUI 6.1 Facing issues on Galaxy S22 Series yet again.

From the green line issue, to multiple settings moving around to become less accessible on the Galaxy S22 Series, the OneUI 6.1 update has been plagued with issues from the start. 

While reorganising the app drawer, I was taken to the home screen where I had to delete the app using the top section of the phone, due to a lack of space. After having done this, I was surprised to discover that after having briefly turned off my Galaxy S22 series device, I discovered that the red box indicating there was no room left to place the app was still left on the home screen, like a ghost. I tried interacting with the area of the screen to get it to disappear and swiping to other screens, yet nothing seemed to happen, and the red ghost stood there with me unable to do anything about it.

After the OneUI 6.1 Update for the Galaxy S22 Series being delayed for weeks after the green line issue spotted on Galaxy devices, I would have thought that the developers would have had time to polish the update before its release, but it turns out that wasn't the case. 

Whilst I have experienced issues regarding the home screen before, from invisible apps taking up space on the screen, to the home screen taking over 5 seconds to respond, I would have thought that at this stage of development, samsung would have fixed these sorts of issues. Needless to say, they haven't, so I would like to see theses sorts of bugs patched in the next OneUI 6.1.1 update.

OK, nw. Just thought it was worth a try. If you're still having no joy, you could try reaching out to support via the 'Ask Questions' route.

It is a shame that Sammy updates nowadays are plagued with issues on general release. Personally, I'm now hesitant to apply OTA updates and haven't updated my S22U yet. The same applies to my S95C, which, according to the forums, is also seeing issues after the latest update. Just like the OneUI 6.1 for the S22 series, the last for the S95C tvs was also pulled due to big issues that some users reported. This trend has got to change very soon.

My phone won't boot properly since the update. It goes to recovery mode

My S22 Ultra updated to 6.1 last weekend and I have had constant network connection issues. 4 calls to Att, 1 trip to a store and 1 call with samsung and nothing. I had to issues before update. My wife has same phone with no issues (not updated).

C’est pour cette raison j’ai reçu la mise à jour sur mon s22ultra mais je refuse la mise à jour, j’espère ça ne posera pas problème si je refuse ????

I was able to delay the update by selecting 'Download later'. The OTA message then disappeared after a couple of days. It came back again when I went back to check (tapping on the 'Software update' menu). I've not seen any issues so far but will likely give in and take the update in the next couple of weeks.

Εμένα μετά από την ενημέρωση ανεβάζει εύκολα την θερμοκρασία και πέφτει γρήγορα η μπαταρία.
