I only receive one Gmail notification for any emails that come through on a daily basis. I used to receive a notification each time a new email came through, but that's no longer the case. I've called my service provider to no avail, I've tried all of the troubleshooting tips listed online, but nothing has worked. I'm unable to respond to emails in a timely manner due to this issue and I would like it fixed. Please help!!

Go to the Google Play Store, find the Gmail app and uninstall it, then reinstall it. Should solve the problem!

No, not at all. You may have to log in again, but your emails will still be there.

Oh no! Sorry it didn't work for you. When you uninstalled and reinstalled it, did you reboot your device?
