Not receiving new Gmail email notifications

I only receive one Gmail notification for any emails that come through on a daily basis. I used to receive a notification each time a new email came through, but that's no longer the case. I've called my service provider to no avail, I've tried all of the troubleshooting tips listed online, but nothing has worked. I'm unable to respond to emails in a timely manner due to this issue and I would like it fixed. Please help!!

I have the same problem, where I need to go to uninstall gmail app updates?

Go to the Google Play Store, find the Gmail app and uninstall it, then reinstall it. Should solve the problem!

No, not at all. You may have to log in again, but your emails will still be there.

Hi, yes I did like said, did not lose my emails but still no notifications on gmail app 😞 hopefully will be fixed in June update because all was ok till May update, after May update no more notifications on Gmail app and how I can see louds of people have this problem with S23 Ultra, thanks

Oh no! Sorry it didn't work for you. When you uninstalled and reinstalled it,  did you reboot your device?
