No signal since system upgrade. It is dangerous for me. It is just about the entire town

Reseting the network settings doesn't work, I spent 2+ hours on the phone with Verizon tech who washed their hands of this and said it was a Samsung issue since it was their update that broke everything. Others are saying they've done the warranty replacement with the same issues on the new phone.
Is anyone getting anything resolved or are we all just yelling into the void of the message boards? Is Samsung doing anything? Does anyone have a number to call or person to email?
