No mobile connection after an update.

Really hoping someone can help. 
I updated my phone 3 days ago, since then I am not able to connect to the mobile network. It will work for a few minutes and then goes off again. 
I've spoken to vodafone who replaced sim. I have tried the replacement sim card and it still doesn't work in my phone. 
My sim will work in someone else's phone. And I have tried another sim in my phone and it works. 
I've done everything asked by vodafone and samsung live chat and now I don't have a clue. 

- update - I checked sim status. And in there it says, 'mobile network state' - disconnected.

Hi there, @CDL95. I appreciate you taking the time to reach out to the Community about this. I understand that you have already followed some steps to get connected to your mobile network again.

So that I don't ask you to replicate any of these steps, other than using a replacement SIM card, please can you elaborate on which steps you have been through thus far?

I have reset network settings, I have rebooted phone. Factory reset phone. Tried sim in another phone, tried another sim in my phone. Changed network mode. Manually tried connecting to the network

That's very comprehensive, @CDL95

As the issue is persisting for you, I think it would be worth looking at other possibilities and solutions. At this stage, I recommend submitting an Error report as soon as you can. This will allow our developers to take a closer look at this for you.

To submit an Error report, please launch the Samsung Members app > Tap Support > Scroll down and tap Error reports > Choose a category of Error report to submit > Complete the required details and then send the report by tapping the send icon.

Please let me know when you get your S22 Ultra connected to your mobile network again.

Thank you for your reply. I have already done this, and I am hoping for a fix 🙂
Just waiting for the error report to come back. I have sent screen recordings of the issue

That's great. Our developers will take a close look at this for you and will get back to you as soon as possible with a solution.

So unfortunately, the problem still persists. I've tried my sim and it constantly drops from 'mobile network state connected' to 'mobile network state disconnected'.
I tried another sim card in my phone got 12 hours just to monitor and the exact same thing happened there.
I've spoken to my service provider and have ruled out problem on the network or sim card. The issue lies somewhere with the handset

I am having this issue as well, did you ever come to a solution? Phone drops connection and says unknown esim. Will sporadically reconnect and then lose the network altogether.

Hey! I haven't yet, my phone is currently in repair at Vodafone and they haven't been able to find an issue.
Samsung have said that it may be a hardware issue.
I hope you manage to get yours fixed soon :smiling-face: I'll provide updates when I have them
