@catlady: Please can you confirm the model name of the watch you're using? Also, is the watch currently connected to your Galaxy S22 via the Galaxy Wearable app?
If you head to the Google Wallet app on your watch, select 'Get Started' and set up a lock screen option if you haven't already, then it should direct you to your phone to add your credit or debit card. For clarity, is this point at which you encounter the 'Try later' error?
