More Snapchat problems with S22 Ultra

Just reporting more issues with Snapchat on the S22 (in my case the Ultra).  In addition to previous reports about rough zooming on the camera, I am finding that Snapchat is almost totally broken on my device.  I had zero problems with Snapchat on my Note 20. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app, clearing cache, bla bla bla. I've had the S22 Ultra for a few days now and am seeing the following problems:

- Snapmap doesn't work.  Bitmoji's do not appear on the map (mine or my friends).  But if I tap on a spot corresponding to a location where one of my friends actually is, their info appears.  So for some reason the bitmoji's just aren't appearing.
- Friends stories are not showing up. The "Discover" feed is refreshing but friends' stories are not.
- Not getting notifications unless a friend tags me in something

Is Samsung and/or Snapchat working on a fix for these issues?  If something is not coming out soon (like the next day or two), I am probably going to return the phone.  This is unacceptable.

Yep got all those same updates.  Tried clearing cache, force stop, uninstall/reinstall of Snapchat.  Nothing helped. Snapmap still broken for me.  Time to consider returning this phone.

Update: Bitmojis started randomly appearing and disappearing on the snapmap tonight, but they are the wrong bitmojis (like Friend A shows the bitmoji for B, etc.) Even my own is someone else's bitmoji. And when I try to change it, either it switches to a different friend's bitmoji or I get that "Oops something went wrong" message. Very weird but it seems like Snapchat or whoever is at least trying something to fix this.

SnapChat had an app update last night that seems to have fixed the SnapMap/Bitmoji issue for me.  🤞

Yes! Just got this update (version is now 11.70.0.36) and it seems to have fixed the snapmap issues for me as well. 

My long national nightmare is over!

Yay! Glad to hear it.
It seems silly and I reminded myself it was "just" a snap map but it was really making me bonkers. I'm glad it's fixed!

I am also having the same exact issues with my brand new s22 Ultra unlocked version. I'm pretty sure they're going to come out with an update eventually to fix some of these bugs or I hope they will

I had the phone replaced 2 times now (currently using 3rd phone since the launch) and Snapchat camera is still lagging. I have spoken to Samsung support numerous times and they can't seem to know when it all be fixed. Anyone has any updates from Samsung because faulty swapping handsets clearly isn't working as 3 phones I had still having the same issue.

I just got my s22 ultra two days ago. Everything was working fine and last night my phone did the most recent update. Now, I cannot use snapchat. The app crashes immediately. I get a notice saying this app has a bug. Try updating the app, but there is no update available on the app. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and that didn't help. Anyone experience this and/or know how to fix it?

I had to download a Beta trial Version of Snapchat that fixed the issue.
