Just bought a new S22 but the Samsung Music app doesn't show any of my tracks.

The Samsung Music app on my S22 doesn't show my music. I assumed that I was making errors setting it up so sought advice by using the "contact" function. 
I followed the advice but it still doesn't work. (It worked fine on my old S8).
I followed the steps again and I've just downloaded 3 songs as a test but the issue still isn't resolved.
Anyone else experiencing this?

What format are the songs in?

I don't know. I wasn't aware that they had to be in a particular format.

Scroll along at the top to 'folders' and see if they are then visible?

Thanks for the tip but they're not visible there either. Nothing under any of the tabs; folders, tracks, playlists etc.
I'm probably doing something wrong but I can't figure it out. No problem on my previous phone, an S8.

You need to give music player permission to read storage

Thanks for replying. I've already checked that the app has permission to access files and media. I'm hoping that Samsung Support will get back to me again.

It supports these music files

mp3, m4a, mp4, 3gp, 3ga, ogg, oga, aac, and flac

What happenes if you click directly onto the files you downloaded/transferred?

Nothing happens. They're shown as downloaded but they don't appear in the app.
I have a friend who is much more knowledgeable regarding technology than me so I'll let him know what you've mentioned about format. Hopefully he will be able to apply what you've told me. I'm at a loss to understand why it worked on my last phone though.

So you click on the file in downloaded folder and nothing happens?
