After i came to US called Verizon ,set up Global service and went for trip to Poland .

I cant belive happened again ,I am in Poland now for a week, no phone service (only wifi calling)

Verizon international team its just waist time because no one from the support technician know what to do

I opened Special Verizon support ticket ,no reponde ,my S 22 Ultra still not working

ok i see where your coming from now... i have the verizon (get more) which is unlimited everything ... so with travel pass set up on my verizon.com turns that into an international unlimited plan, wherever I might travel too... my only concern from previous posts on this thread was the black sim that came from samsung not working for many many peeps on this thread so I had it switched out to the white 5g card at the verizon store..I did download the samsung band switch app just in case.. lol but hopefully the white sim card will do the trick with the whole no reception outside the U.S. problem

I have exactly the same issue with my S22+. Whenever I'm abroad I can't get any network. Roaming is turned on and my network provider says everything should be working and can't help. This is really frustrating, having paid a lot of money for a new phone. I've never had this issue before.

Samsung, please sort this out ASAP

I've been having the exact same problem in Mexico. Phone won't connect automatically to any Mexican providers. If I try to connect manually to either Telcel or Movistar, one of two things happens: 1) "Your SIM card does not allow a connection to this network." Or, 2) Connects, but then disconnects after about 1 minute.

In addition to that, back in the States on Verizon, I found that the special numbers stopped working. *611, *86, etc., would all make a very loud beep and flash "Number not valid" at the top of the dial screen.

I called in to Verizon using the 800 number and ended up going to a store to get a new SIM card. Original was the black and white one, new one is all white. That one worked ONCE in Mexico, but the next time we went, I was right back to the same problem!

I am very frustrated. My wife's iPhone 13 and her mom's Galaxy A71 have no problem. So for me, at least, even getting the right type of SIM didn't help.

Same thing for me just now in Aruba, and I have a white sim card on s22+ . Got stuck not being able to call a taxi. Finally found a bus to a hotel to get a taxi.  This is very stressful when you need it.

An update to my previous post. I was able to get a replacement SIM card when I returned to the US and it also seems to have fixed my problem. I've been in Germany and France this trip and had no problem connecting.

A FIX (I think) I live in New Zealand and on business in Australia. My S22 kept dropping roaming after 2min. I have two phone numbers and people kept saying the device is confused. Have a go at turning 5g off either under the power saving menu or under settings > connections > mobile networks and derate your phone to not auto connect to 5g. Working for me so far

Any updates on this?  I ran into this issue in Mexico earlier in the month with no fix and headed to Spain/France later this month and need service.  Using a S22 via Verizon.  Called verizon and didn't get too far other than "use roaming" and "perform a reset network" of which haven't proven to work before.  Was about to get to Tier 2 tech support to discuss but they disconnected me. Any updates would be appreciated.
