You cant delete it but if you want to remove the samsung free page on your home screen you can press and hold on your homescreen and turn off the page. But you can never remove it fully from your phone.

Do you in know how to disable it? For android apps, you can disable those. But Samsung apps don't give me that option.
Thanks

One of the least obtrusive apps and you're complaining? Just don't use it simple as. I mean it uses a whopping 46MB! 😕

Firstly, 46Mb is huge. Try running a phone with 0mb free. That 46mb is a life saver.
Secondly, it's all about security. If we can't control what we run then the device is open to abuse.

If your phone has less than 46MB free, you've got far worse problems. And no 46MB is not huge, it was maybe 30 years ago. The minimum storage on an S22 is 128GB, 46MB is less than 0.05%.

Security? Do you actually think it's some kind of trojan? It's no different from say Google discover and can be completely ignored/disabled so you never have to see it again.

Good luck.
Samsung bundle a load of their own s***e apps that you cant get rid of.
Then add in the ones that are copies of existing android apps. Contacts. Messages. Calendar. Mail, Internet Browser.
Lets then mention the ones they've done deals with (Microsoft, Facebook, et al).

So you want some bare bones, dry experience with literally Google dictating your whole phone experience? Why did you even bother looking at a Samsung device then if you're so disgusted by them having their own software in their own product...

Thank you for your constructive help neonfour. Looks like I'll have to stick with using Google or others' software and ignoring the Samsung bloat. In the good old days service providers used to stack the phone with bloatware (eg facebook) that I couldn't remove. I have an ipad that i find difficult to customise, hence no iphone. Let's hope Samsung wise up and realise they should stick to what android is about. An open platform.
Again thank you for the helpful comments
