How can I block my stolen phone?

Hello,

If my phone had no provider (the sim card was out of the phone) and it is stolen, can I still block it? I have my IMEI number and the proof of ownership and the phone is reported stolen to the police. I would appreciate for any kind of feedback.

Have you contacted your network provider so thay can place a block on their systems?
