4 anyone interested I got my Samsung s22 ultra Exynos 2200 chip today here in the u.k
And omfg lol the rumours and articles/videos are true. Even after our 1st update it runs like *****, laggy, fingerprint sensor is terrible, can’t run aethersx2 ps2 emulator (when even older phones can with high quality!) changing resolution seems to cause more issues, battery seems to literally go down every minute almost! Really fkn disappointed, will be returning and going back to apple. Never ever ever have I had any issues with my apple devices, I’m not even exaggerating. Since 2009 my apple phones and tablets just have been amazing. Guess I’ll be sticking with iPhone pro max. Such a shame as it’s a lovely phone and nice for viewing media but that’s it . I do love the look but I’ve never had issues like this, I cannot recommend as is. Gutted!

It's a shame the Samsung Galaxy s²² Ultra isn't ticking your wants and need boxes / performing how you need it to @Onepunch23
I received my Samsung Galaxy s²² Ultra 256gb Exynos version on the 19th of February 2022 and I'm yett o find a reason to want to return it.
Respectfully a phone would take more than 1 day to fully optimise and the battery calibration happening after a few discharges and re charge cycles.
This is a subjective as we all set up our phone's differently, use different apps etc.
I do not Game on my phone.
However I wish you all the best with your next choice of phone which is I assume the iPhone 13 Pro Max which is a nice phone too.
I wish all the best.
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.
The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Is that the extent of your bitterness and fangirling? I give apple as an example because I’ve used their devices since 2009, I’ve never had these issues with this phone or my one plus. Not on this level. So of course I’m going to compare to what I have used lmao what other comparison do I use? A radio? A washing machine? Chopsticks?
Don’t reply if your going to fan girl because somebody is telling you their experience after spending over £1200.

Thankyou, I just was not ready for this many issues with my device. Yes I do game so that maybe an issue but Samsung joined with amd who is a leader in pc gaming! I honestly think that joining amd was not a good move as trying to fit pc architecture onto a mobile device with a battery of this size has spelt failure for them. Genshin impact looked ugly and constantly fluctuated between 25fps to 12fps. Aethersx2 is a loved emulator as it can run amazing on even some older devices yet my s22 ultra Exynos 2200 could not go past native when my brothers huwawei from 2018 was running the games at 4x native with 3x anti specs. For 2022 and what Samsung advertised this is night and day. I do love the design though, that alone makes me want to keep it. The fingerprint being laggy and other things don’t bother me as much, otherwise like you I would keep it. If anyone is looking for a great gaming phone I personally don’t recommend…if you don’t game it is a fantastic phone and for normal casual apps it will be perfect especially after more updates. I’m still holding out for news from Samsung about this but they have not said anything?! I’m going to wait a few days as I have 14 days to return. I really hope something changes and thanks for your kind words as I guess it’s true..how you use it is a big thing.
