I have already sent the trade in s8 before the deadline (13th march) and received the email saying its been received by them. I called them today they said apparently its an "automated" response, over the phone they confirmed that they had the phone. I also had sent an email to their uk trade in team still waiting due a responce. 

What is this ? I've done everything they needed. Does anyone else have this.

As they've advised this looks to be an automated message but I do appreciate this will make a person worry that they are going to be negatively affected.

There are other recent threads on this board regarding this type of message.

Make sure you keep the email for reference however I'm sure you'll be fine @Cupcworld

I got that same notification 24 hours before the deadline date. Luckily the time has come and gone and my device was never locked.

It's good that this just seems to be an automation error but come on Samsung, stop causing such stress and worry for your valued customers. It doesn't inspire confidence at all.
