Galaxy S22 stuttering when scrolling

I received my Galaxy S22 128 GB yesterday and the experience has not been good. I love the form factor of the phone and the interface but the stuttering is killing me. I installed the latest April Android update but I still encounter a lot of stuttering when scrolling on apps such as Twitter and Reddit. It is unacceptable. I had an S10e in the past and I never had any stuttering issues. I might send the S22 back. I tried to go back to 60hz but it is even worse. Can we expect an update soon?

So I did a check and it seems like there is a touchscreen issue mid phone. I used a drawing app to identify a gap in the touchscreen running horizontally. This also occurred in the same spot when I tried to markup an image in Google photos. The markup would just cut out.

Looks like a hardware defect to me.

The S pen will not work if there is a magnetic field nearby. That streak could be from a magnetic case holder. Might be worth checking again  with any cases removed.

I use a magnetic usb cable, and the little connector left in the phones charging socket causes a small S pen blackout around the bottom centre of the screen. Doesnt bother me though 🙂

What happens when you try the S pen diagnostic test through the members app? Can you draw through all the test squares across the screen?

I'm also facing the same problem with my s22 ultra 256GB purchased just a couple of days ago. Is there any solution?

The issue that I noted above was resolved with a full factory reset. I was able to obtain full functionality after this was performed. Luckily the phone was relatively new so it did not have a slug of items stored on it yet.

I think I got lucky.

Only other change I made after the factory reset was to remove the screen protector.

I will be reinstalling a screen protector shortly. I will post of the issue returns but I feel it's not that

I suggest you all to report the problem via Samsung Members, I hope in that way we could get the help sooner
