Genuinely one of the worst updates ever done by Samsung. The battery on this piece of junk was bad already but now it's gone from electric bleeding to electric dysentery. Go to hell Samsung I'm buying an iPhone next.

Not experienced this myself. There are a few posts with tips on improving since the update

Be sure to submit feedback to samsung members app- support- feedback. Samsung will see your feedback then- they wont see here.

Not something I've experienced myself on either the S24 Ultra when I had it in beta, my S21 Ultra or my Tab S8 Ultra. I do agree though that the S22 Ultra had the worst battery life of all the Ultras, one of the best has been the S21 Ultra.

My device is running perfectly with one UI 7. Not had any issues and battery life is still almost 2 days. Very casual user.

It's usually normal for your phone to drain faster during a recent major Android os upgrade. It can take at least 14 for it to settle down, meaning whilst its learning its usage pattern. Make sure that all of your apps are up-to-date via the Play store and Galaxy store. You can also wipe the cache partition after the update.

Here is a solution which usually works, see comments for explanation on why this works.

The update causes alot of AI stuff to run in background and reduce battery life. Also good excuse to get customers to upgrade phones. Switching to iPhone is no better go with another Android brand if you truly want out of samsungs influence just saying
