Hi. I've lost all my contacts, how do I get them back? I have followed google instructions with no luck. Thank you

Did you back them up anywhere, if not there is no way to bring them back

No I don't think so. Also contacts won't add a new number, do you have any idea why. Thank you

What do you mean? You create a contact but can't enter a number and save it? Or can't even enter number? Could you send a screenshot?

I add name and number, but nothing shows on contacts, sorry I'm hopeless with technology

Hi @Ruby11

Go to phone app > contacts > 3 vertical dots > manage contacts > import contacts > select from where (if it was backed up)

Or sync contacts and select all Google accounts.

In terms of not showing information on created contacts could you provide screenshots of it? Usually you go to contacts > press + sign (to add) > select where contact will be saved and enter all the details.

Do you still have the old device with the numbers on it? Download Smart Switch on both devices and move over the contacts. As you mentioned, you didn't back them up before; you can't get them back otherwise.

open the Smart Switch app on both devices, choose "Send data" on the old phone and "Receive data" on the new one, select "Contacts" and other desired data, and then initiate the transfer

@Ruby11: Further to the above, I also recommend opening the Contacts app > Tap the 3 lines in the top left > Check the drop down bar towards the top of the side menu, and make sure that 'All contacts' is selected.
