Contacts duplicating and deletes automatically

My contacts keep duplicating and deleting  automatically on my S22U, it is extremely frustrating! Doesn't matter how I restore and merge, it continues to happen! I've already logged an error report, not sure what Samsung is doing about it, but I realised that they have now deleted my Samsung account and other Google accounts from my contacts! That clearly did not solve the problem.

This problem has been ongoing for months. My wife and I share our contacts via an Outlook connection. This generally works fine but becomes a nightmare if we are also synching via Google. Sometimes Google synch gets turned on somehow and the mess starts all over. I have one contact now with over 300 duplicates. I would like to have Google synch on because we lose our contacts if the Outlook synching breaks for some reason. This is a huge mess for which no vendor takes responsibility. It started with an upgrade on the Samsung side so I would point there first but really can't be sure. I have been chasing this for months now. I might have to try a Google Pixel or give up and jump ship to Apple!

I'm so sorry John, I know exactly how frustrating this can be. Samsung recently did a software reset of my phone and it didn't solve anything! I'll never go to apple, because their whole system is built selfishly. But trying another High-end android has definitely crossed my mind. I just feel like Samsung no longer cares, they think they have their loyal customers so they're just not making an effort anymore.

I'm sorry you're having this issue. Yeah, I don't think samsung cares, maybe we should all get a refund! After all, the phone is not preforming in the way it should.

I have found this situation improved on my S21 Ultra when I removed the second SIM and went down to a single SIM. Worth trying.
