Charging at 45W

I recently purchased a 45W charger for my S22 Ultra and plugged it in but I'm only getting the 'super fast charging' rather than 'super fast charging 2.0' 

Had a look through settings but couldn't see anything... Is there something I'm doing wrong?🤔

Which as you can clearly see, both my S22 Ultra and Tab S8 Ultra do and I assure you, I haven't bought any "new" 45W charger from Samsung

It really doesn't matter what you're reading during an in app charge since you're actually draining it (the battery) whilst charging and that WILL affect overall charging speed. The point is, you are seeing a different charge rate with your 45W Spigen, therefore it is using a faster charging speed, ie 45W charging. Another thing to note is these chargers adjust according to temperatures of the device, battery and charger etc

As has already been stated, if you see the text stating Super Fast Charging 2.0, then you're charging at 45W. If not, then you will not be achieving 45W charging.

Are you using the big 45w cable for your spigen charger? 

For you, it could be a used cord problem my friend

Yeah tried the new larger cable with similar results, also tried other type c cables I've lying around to no avail. I'm not too cut up about it but wanted to see if there was a solution

Honestly, the only devices I've seen which have a significant impact from 45W charging with Samsung, are their Tab S7+ and Tab S8 series. 45W cuts charge time in half for the Tab S8 Ultra, for me it takes under an hour to go from 0-85%! Not bad from a 11200 mah battery!

Jheez that's pretty good, got the Tab S7+ and that takes over an hour and a half! I am pretty tempted to trade it in for the S8 Ultra 😏
