Can't Buy Samsung Care

I'm trying to buy Samsung Care for my S22u I purchased from Currys in the UK a couple of weeks ago. When I enter my IMEI or serial number,it says "IMEI or Serial number you've entered is not available in this country. Please check again." Not sure how this can be as I bought it direct from Currys in the UK?

So I have to pay to find out the country of the phone despite buying it from a major UK retailer? Why would Samsung Care not recognise the IMEI country?

The reason would be as per the error message, namely the device doesn't show up on their database which is really strange. You could try ringing Samsung Customer services for verification and see where you gi from there.

Hi @Bt32 

You can download an app called PhoneINFO and it'll tell you it's csc thus giving an idea of it's status however as you bought it from a reputable UK Store i.e Curry's,  I don't see them selling grey imports !

Also look in your about phone section where there's also information.

Try opeining your browser in incognito mode / private mode which sometimes works.

In regards to registering try clearing any relevant cache,  cookies and history and perhaps try again.

I bought an S22 Ultra direct from Samsung UK and have the same problem. IMEI/SN both not being recognised. So frustrating and nobody at Samsung is really of any help.

Same. I can't get it to work at all.

The weird thing is, I signed my partner's phone up about 6-8 weeks ago with absolutely no trouble, but now it doesn't work at all. I think something is going on behind the scenes, the Allianz website it linked me to previously doesn't exist anymore, just gives a 404 error.

When I keep trying to purchase Samsung care just comes up like this even tho the card details are correct. Tried different devices clearing history cookies and caches. Also tried different devices is there a solution to this

I've not found a solution to my original question. I've given up trying to buy it.
