Camera Folder not visible when opening gallery from whatsapp in s22

After the latest Android 13 update in S22, Im not able to see my camera folder in galleries when i open it from whatsapp. Is there any fix. I tried many ways.

What I don't get is if I moved photos from the camera folder in to another folder (generally WhatsApp images/ WhatsApp video) then WhatsApp could see them. You would have thought that if permission to view media was revoked WhatsApp shouldn't have been able to see this. Also what a pain finding this - I kept getting pages relating to WhatsApp images not being visible in gallery. In the end I searched camera album not showing in whatsapp -"whatsapp photos" -"whatsapp images" to find a solution!
