Hi,
I have had this phone now for around a month (S22 ultra EU exynos) and this is the 4th or 5th time that has happened to me. I receive a call, I hear the ringtone, I answer the phone but I hear nothing. I try to hang up the person and call myself and hear nothing.????? Only way to solve the problem is restart the phone, like I'm on a windows 98 computer....
This is besides the other problem I have with phone refusing to unlock once a day, I am really getting tired of all this annoying bugs.
Why would a 1400$ phone not be able to receive calls? Has anyone else had similar problems or it's only my unit that is faulty?

I've got the same problem on an S22+ Exynos, problem still not fixed 😠

I have the exact same issue from day 1 but must have been typing somthing odd in try to describe the issue and could find anyone else with the issue.
Glad to know I'm not alone, but it's not great given the cost. Don't think Samsung have done well with this one full stop.
Restarting the phone is the only solution I have found.
It happens on both out bound and incoming calls.
Restart and it works.

I have the same issue with my S22+ no sound on answering or making calls. Often no ringing tone when making calls and the phone signal is terrible compared to my Pixel 5.
A reset fixes it for a while but not permanently.
This is my first Samsung phone and unless they sort it soon, it'll be my last.
Whats the point of a phone that doesn't work as a phone.

Same problem here, unable to hear any voice during calls, clearing the phone app cache is not working. Not using eSIM. Exyons processor here as well. Restarting does the trick, however, highly inconvenient.

I have the same problem since I bought the phone and it is really annoying. I am missing important calls just because I can't hear anything....

Same here, s22 ultra and s22 from my GF.
Different provider, me on 2 physical SIMs she on 1.
Happens with both phone only and with headphones.

it is useless to hope that they will solve the problem, they have no idea on what to do (I called the assistance about ten times and each operator told me something different from the others). Some users said that they have solved the problem by replacing the motherboard at the assistance. Just avoid buying Samsung in the future, they're done with me.

But if this is an hardware issue then yes, replace one or more components will fix the problem, but maybe it's just software, otherwise I don't understand why it doesn't happen always.

I will wait some other weeks for a software patch (if it's a software problem...), otherwise I will go to the assistance asking for a motherboard replacement, maybe there is a new hardware revision with different components

Ok, to me it can't be hardware. When it happens, i can still send voice message, use Google assistant and I can hear from the internal speaker. If the problem is hardware, then it should affect the things listed above.
Let me know if you get a replacement
