Hello, my phone constantly receives pairing request from any Bluetooth device nearby. The only way to stop this is by turning Bluetooth off, which is not a great fix. I have turned nearby device scanning off but problem still occurs. I can't even add the devices trying to connect and then block them. I have reset network and connections settings again to no avail. Anybody experienced this issue a know whats causing it? Have not tried factory reset yet. Thanks

Hi, are you absolutely sure the requests are from other peoples devices and not your own like a watch, buds or similar. Seems odd that you should get a pairing request from everyone (inc strangers) you ever encounter. In fact I'm pretty sure it's impossible.

Hi thanks for your reply, yes the requests are from other devices. I work in a car dealership so I'll have random customer vehicles attempting to connect to my phone thats why I just swicth Bluetooth off when at work. However I did notice last night there is a 'just eat' device near my home thats also trying to connect to my phone. Phone was at 100% when I went to bed and this morning was at 61% so obviously been trying to connect all night. In fairness I may have worded that incorrectly it doesn't seem to be phones trying to pair just Bluetooth devices like car radios, had one from an LG but couldn't tell what the device was maybe a TV. Sometimes it'll not happen for a while but I'll open my Bluetooth and connect to a customers vehicle to test their system, unpair and then the rest of the day I'll revieve requests from other vehicles. Almost as if the Bluetooth doesn't stop scanning even thou I've closed the screen down. I've also noticed in the Bluetooth section sometimes when I select scan it doesn't respond I have to restart my phone then it'll scan for a nearby device that I am actually looking to connect to.

If and when you get another request from say a customers device, accept it, then return to that list and block it.

Had a random device come up there, asked for a pin to connect. Tried the usual but none worked. Can't add it to block it so now it's just trying to constantly pair with my phone. Even with the phone locked. It's the device named LINK MH...... no other device is trying to connect.

Surely those devices in that list are devices you've already paired with?
