Bluetooth paring requests

Hello, my phone constantly receives pairing request from any Bluetooth device nearby. The only way to stop this is by turning Bluetooth off, which is not a great fix. I have turned nearby device scanning off but problem still occurs. I can't even add the devices trying to connect and then block them. I have reset network and connections settings again to no avail. Anybody experienced this issue a know whats causing it? Have not tried factory reset yet. Thanks

Ahhh. Right can you turn off wifi on your phone and try this again. I can sometimes replicate this with my tablet and phone which were previously paired. Keeps asking for a PIN which is usually 0000. But the connection fails due to wifi connection.

I'm not connected to the WiFi in work but I did as you suggested anyway but still no success in connecting with the device. Even when random cars do this and Iocate the car my phone is not in the list. If I was to pair and block every connection I'd be doing that every day since there's different cars in and out everyday can't block them all lol.

Can confirm this is still happening on my S24 Ultra, I get pairing requests from TVs and cars, and I can block pairing requests.  We should just be able to turn off all new pairing requests manually and disable that block when needed.

Same here. The Bluetooth visibility should really have a button so it can be switched off and other people cannot see it.

The TV will not accept the connection unless you say yes but it will still pop up in the middle of the screen which is annoying.

I purchased this device for the art mode I don't want a pop up if I want to accept a connection request... In fact I don't want any pop-up.

I can sort of confirm this, only started happening in the last few days since i upgraded to One UI 8 Android 16. My requests come between my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and my Samsung laptop. This did not happen before.

Hello my phone just started receiving pairing request this morning.  I have a S20 ULTRA Plus . I have done everything that was suggested in the replies and on goggle. . Reset the network changed the name of my phone. It will not let me block them even though I have the option in the advance settings.  I even accepted a request to see if it would let me add to the block request list nope nothing. This is so annoying.
