Most annoying happens with Android auto on my Volkswagen Passat, the error I see is 'Phone' has been disconnected from Hands Free Phone(HFP). I tried everything except Bluetooth clear cache which is greyed out. I see a lot of people having the same or similar issue but no workaround or answer from Samsung. Current phone is Galaxy S22+, I had only Samsung for the last 10 years which is about to change.

s21 fe and s22 Bluetooth completely broken on new firmware. I expect a patch asap. I'm a developer.

Same problem here 😞
Samsung S22+ since upgrade to Android 13, constant problems with my car's infotaiment. Disconnecting every 10-15 sec, really anoying.
When using my BT buds, I hear some crackling noises which I did not had prior the updgrade. I have tested with Xiaomi with Android 13 - no problem at all, with iPhone - no problem at all.
I have send report via Samsung support, I've got polite but completely useless answer 😞
Several montly updates have passed already but issue is not resolved.
I have tried every proposed workaround, no success. The issue remains.
To say that I am dissappointed will be a gross understatment.
After all Samsung is the top Android phones brand, their prices are quite high I woudl say, and such level of support is simply not acceptable.
I am a Samsung S series since S4 back in 2013, passed trough Note 4, S9, Note 10 and now S22+.
For first time in 10 years I am seriossly considering switching to iPhone.

It is not HW fault.
All these people reporting the problem, all of them got the problem AFTER upgrade to Android 13!
It is CLEARLY a software issue, it worked just fine with Android 12 and it is giving problems with Android 13.
Yes, other models like S23 (or whatever) are not having this problem, but this means that this specific series S22 is using different BT chip and Samsung needs to issue a fix for it. If it was working with Andr. 12 surrely they can fix it with SW patch.
The problem is that for more than 6 months Samsung are pretending that they don't know about it.

Unfortunatelly the "Turn off A2DP Hardware offload" option did not worked for me.
I have tried it some weeks ago, it look good in the first half an hour and then the problem started again 😞
Hope this fix it for you, but not in my experience.
In the meantime yet another SW update was rolled out by Samsung on July 6, S9606BXXS6CWF6 - NO FIX FOR THE ISSUE 😞 😞 😞
Come on Samsung, this is ridiculus!!!
If this is Sasmsung's attidute for supporting their flagship "S" series ... I am moving away from this brand!
This not 10 years old phone, so you can say we are not supporting it anymore, this is less than 2 years old model.

It seems that after the last update of android auto something started to change. Or do you notice that bluetooth doesn't disconnect anymore?

I am truely dissapointed with the this patch 1.3.
No wifi and bluetooth working on a S22 Ultra.
No solution to be found and no official respons for Samsung.
Dont they fo any quality-control before they release a patch?
I starting to think about another brand for the next phone. (Sadly, because longtime Samsung user, started with the Note 4)

It's now September, and my wife's Galaxy S22+ is on One UI 5.1 with the August 2023 update. Her phone still cannot make or receive phone calls in our cars. She can play music and control music via Bluetooth, not phone calls won't work. It has got to be something with Bluetooth HFP. I reset to factory, wiped cache partition, and even flashed the current firmware with Odin and still no luck. After flashing the firmware, it would work for a bit and died again. So I know it couldn't be the hardware. Samsung tech wanted me to bring this to support center and pay for it out of pocket. Samsung knows this is their buggy firmware and is not taking ownership of it. What a shame of company!

I am also having this issue since version 13 update.
