Since my S22+ updated to Android 13 my phone will no longer let me make calls on my car handsfree. I known its the phone as other Samsung model work fine with the kit. Anyone else had this issue and found a fix?

Hi, @TheKelbs. I'm sorry to read that you're still experiencing an issue with your phone, as your earlier post noted that the Bluetooth issues you had been experiencing were resolved by a recent software update.

Exactly the same problems. It was fixed by me doing a network settings reset originally but then another firmware update came down in early December and broke it again. The device connects to the car kit and I can make calls but the sound does not use the in car speakers or microphone, it is all still through the actual phone.
Other Samsung phones work fine with the same car but they haven't been updated to Android 13.
One of the fixes suggested by Samsung was to go to the bluetooth system app and clear the storage but I can't do that as the option is
greyed out.
I specifically got this phone for its twin Sim capability and I was using it in the car for works calls. I now have to carry a second phone that I can connect and use during the work day.

Having exact same symptoms on my US phone, since the problem/solution with firmware update seems somewhat technical and its a new phone to me (could be a hardware problem), going to take it to a local service center for resolution.

FOR EVERYONE IN USA: i TALKED TO TMOBILE ADVANCED SUPPORT. THEY WERE AWARE OF THIS ISSUE. THEY SAID THAT THERE WAS A FIX COMING IN FEBRUARY. THAT IS ALL THAT SAMSUNG TOLD THEM. I HAVE AN S22, AND MY BLUETOOTH CACHE WAS GREYED OUT LIKE EVERYONE ON THIS THREAD. I COULDN'T CONNECT TO MY SMART LOCK, IS HOW I DISCOVERED THIS. IT WAS/IS STUCK ON 14.34KB NUMBER IN THE CACHE. PRETTY SORRY OF SAMSUNG. REALLY DISAPPOINTED IN THEIR PRODUCTS THESE DAYS. I MIGHT JUST DO THE UNTHINKABLE AND FINALLY GO WITH THE LEMMINGS TO THE FRUIT PHONE.

Hi Paul. Are you aware of any sort of fix for the bluetooth cache being grayed out? stuck on 14.34KB. This all started on the Android 13 install

Exactly the same problem here. Forced update of Android 13 before Christmas, now constantly disconnects from any Bluetooth Device, cache is greyed out. Would be good to get an answer about when this is going to be fixed, as it is obviously a widespread problem.

I am on the s20 ultra. the second update after the android 13 fixed Bluetooth issues for me. of note clear cache remains greyed out in the preferences

I have S21 running Android 13. I can not make hands-free calls via Bluetooth. Is that problem with the Bluetooth module on my phone or is it software or firmware related? Also can not clear blue tooth cash and data because it's grayed out.

Really pathetic. They should just send us an option to roll back to Android 12 while they get their act together and fix and issue that they knew existed ever since they were Beta testing it. Really horrible and bad actors.
