Does going back to Android 12 solve the problem?

My Samsung seems to be playing nice with bluetooth devices again, so I thought I would come on here a share what seemed to work for me, in the hope that it might work for others. I followed a post earlier in this thread and changed my Bluetooth AVRCP settings to 1.4. Whilst this in itself didn't work, on a whim I set it back to 1.5 (default) a few weeks later and this appears to have rectified the problem. Good luck!

I have downgraded my Smsung's S21 Android 13 to Android 12 and I still have the same problem - hands-free calling is not working.

Hi,
I had a problem with skips in bluetooth connection to a speaker. Set the Developer Option "Turn off A2DP hardware offload" toggle to on and seems to have helped.
Separately have an ongoing issue with low volume to bluetooth devices (the "Media Volume limit" is set to off. Any ideas?

Ihave had smilar problems since update 13 on my S22 ultra. Was told by Samsung customer servicce that the cashe and data in the bluetooth app cannot be deleted. That it was put there by the default. As i still under warantee they gave directions to a nearby customer service. This mean i will have to backup and than clear phone. I realized that i still had my backsetting from when i upgraded my phone from s7 to s22 ultra. I restored the settings and apps with Samsung switch and the problem was solve for me. Now my car phone and music and other apps are working. It is a work arround utntil Samsung fixes what is clearly a bug

Hi all, unfortunately I am in the same situation as everyone here who's got ongoing issues with their Bluetooth on their Samsung mobile since Android 13. I've got a Samsung S20 FE 4G mobile. It's been working flawlessly pre-Android 13 with connecting to Bluetooth devices, the most used is my car's Bluetooth for calls/music. I've also tried many troubleshooting options from forgetting the paired devices and repairing to resetting the Wireless/Bluetooth settings and starting again.
I can confirm what you've all found, there's no option to reset the Bluetooth cache/clear the data on Android 13 either.
I have had the March 2023 One UI 5.1 update so it's all updated, however, no change. Thankfully my phone does reconnect to my car after it's been disconnected, it's just a matter of going through the car's settings to reconnect it again. But it can disconnect mid-call and/or listening to music via Bluetooth on my phone at random.
What else can we do? I don't believe it's possible to downgrade to Android 12 right? At least without invalidating your warranty (so I've read)!

I have the same problem with a s22 Ultra. I cannot connect to my car and the clear bluetooth cache is greyed out (disabled).
Dear Samsung bluetooth connection is a fundametal function of a 1000€/$ mobile phone and we expect that this issue is solved soon! This is the most annoying problem I ever had with a smart phone. Please give this problem the absolute highest priority!!!

Hi all, good news, I believe I've found a solution! At least in my experience.
Problem solved! Guess what? After lots of reading around, I’ve discovered that from Android 13, my Samsung mobile cannot connect to 2 Bluetooth devices simultaneously like it used to with Android 12. In my car I use the built-in Bluetooth car kit for my mobile to play music and use it as a hands-free phone. But I also use a dash cam which allows me to connect via Bluetooth for checking for updates and copying data. Since I unpaired the dash cam so only the car is connected via Bluetooth, problem solved! No more random disconnections like almost ever time I drove in my car before this.
Hopefully Samsung will fix this as it’s useful to have 2 devices connected at the same time. I’m thinking of people with smart watches who may be really annoyed too having to disconnect their watch whilst driving to keep a stable Bluetooth connection in the car!
If you're looking to have your mobile turn on/off Bluetooth automatically whilst driving, I highly recommend the 'Blutify' app in Google Play. Best by far of its kind and the developer replies to emails very quickly.
Hope this info helps others out there as I too, found this extremely frustrating when we need to stay safe and not use our mobiles whilst driving and rely on Bluetooth a lot in the car.
