Hello.
Any news about this issue ? Same problem on my side, since 3 month ago, since my Android 13 uptade. My watch is deconnected in a few hours. Only action to reconnect : stop and start bluetooth or the phone.
So, I have a connected watch who is disconnected 90% of the time
I try everything posted here without success. My phone was impacted with GPS bug at the begining for several month, now bluetooth for several month. He works most of the time with a bug.
I tried ton open a ticket on Samsung side, but I have no illusion. Somebody find something to solve temporaly this issue ?
Thanks a lot.

Hi,
I never resolved the bluetooth issue on my old S22+ but I traded it in or a s23ultra and never had the issue again. I think the s22's are faulty. plain and simple.
Kind Regards
Wayne

Any update on this? Can't believe this is not getting a higher priority. A stable bluetooth connection is one of the most basis requirement for any smartphone. I own a Galaxy S22 Ultra and my car audio is continuously interrupted because of this bug. If it drags on for a couple more weeks my next phone will be a different brand. Coming from someone who is a loyal customer for years now.

Can I ask what is involved with recreating the mobile connection? I don't want to lose anything, but I have the exact same issue and suspect I need to do this.

To give some more information about the issue:
- Happens with Android auto on my Volkswagen Passat GTE Variant 2022
- I use PowerAmp for playing music, but I don't think that's actually relevant
- The error I see on my car is HFP (hands-free profile connection lost)
It actually loses the connection to stream phone calls, but a side effect is that music is interrupted for 1-2 seconds and then continues to play. Sometimes I do need to press the play button again. After a while (sometimes a few seconds, sometimes a few minutes) bluetooth reconnects automatically without my interference and a few moments later it disconnects automatically again and I get the HFP error on my car. Depends how lucky I am. But usually during a 15 min car drive it happens about 10-20 times. Making phone calls is even worse by the way, but I don't do it as often as listen music in the car which I literally do all the time.
I already tried literally everything except a factory reset:
- Connect directly to the car with cable
- Removed my car from the Bluetooth devices in my phone
- Removed my phone from the Bluetooth devices in my car
- Reset network settings
Possible by going to Settings -> General management -> Reset -> Reset network settings - Set battery usage to unrestricted for all the Bluetooth apps (Bluetooth, Bluetooth agent, Bluetooth MIDI)
Possible by going to Settings -> Apps -> Show system apps -> <Select app> -> Battery -> Unrestricted - Clear data and clear cache is not possible because it's greyed out
Normally this should be possible by going to Settings -> Apps -> Show system apps -> Bluetooth -> Storage -> Clear data/Clear cache - Turned off A2DP hardware offload
To do this you need to enable "Developer options", this can be done by going to Settings -> About phone -> Software information -> Tap build number 7 times in a row
Then you can go to Settings -> Developer options -> A2DP hardware offload
None of the above work and I refuse to do a factory reset because multiple people already confirmed in this thread that it does nothing. This thread has 29611 views and 55 replies, which is an insane amount if you compare it to the other threads. This means it's an issue that is bothering a lot of your customers, so please do something about it Samsung and do proper testing on basis functionalities before publishing future software updates.

Same here. Tried everything including a factory reset. I still get the frequently HFP error on my car. My car is a 2023 Seat Tarraco hybrid, so it can be a VAG issue.

HI,
I found getting rid of my S22 and upgrading to S23 fixed it. My understanding is it's an underlying fault in the S22 phones. You are never going to fix it.
Kind Regards

HI,
Its a Hardware fault, Not software. Just get rid of your S22 and say for example upgrade to S23 fixed it. My understanding is it's an underlying fault in the S22 phones. You are never going to fix it.
Kind Regards
Wayne
