Black screen after calls

I have noticed for the past few days that after making or answering a call the screen stays dark and you have to press the power button to show the screen to end the call, could this be a glitch from the software update last week?

Tap the power button, and all will come back.

That's what I have been doing but shouldn't it just automatically come back on using the proximity sensor I've never had to do this before?

My phone does that but when you put the phone in front of your face it comes back on it's a save battery no point the screen on when the phone is stuck 2 your lug

I done a factory reset last night and upto now it's back to normal
