Banking Apps stuck on authenticating

Hi all, so after the latest update, all of a sudden all of my banking apps are stuck on authentication, I've gone into each app and reset the cache and data, I've also done a wipe partition but it's still the same, has anyone got any ideas?

There was an issue yesterday regarding an outage of banking systems for several major banks. Have you contacted your banking institutions for clarification, as they could still be experiencing issues.

Hi Robin, I haven't you know, can they reset the apps on there sides, it's four banks I'd have to contact which means I'd spend the rest of the day on the phone lol

Strangley is after the update , so I not a banking issue is an app developer issue. Some android phones are affected. Calling the bank will get you nowhere. On halifax there is scheduled an update for Sunday 30.06

Ok I guess it might just be okay so given it a few days and hopefully all the banks will run an update on their apps

Found the problem , if you have ads block on your phone , deactivate them and then you will be able to move on.

My partner is with HSBC, and she had problems viewing bank transaction data in the app, but it was resolved yesterday afternoon. I believe Halifax (Bank of Scotland) and Nationwide were also affected. It's impossible for me to say what they can and can not do with regards to fixing their IT systems, but they are definitely the best people to speak to. It's a pain, but needs must if you need to use your banking apps.
