Had the same problem. If anyone is using a VPN then you can check on (Android) Settings-connections-more connections.
Check your VPN. if you have one (Duck Duck Go was the culprit for me) then you may also have "App Tracking Protection" activated. Once you disable that, you should then be able to log into your banking app.

If you use Duck Duck Go and have the app tracker protection activated then that, and things alike, will stop the app from working

Well I have been puzzling over this issue for days and the problem occurred after the last update to the app, after calling the bank several times, they were no help, I emailed their support at mobileapps@lloydsbanking.com, but got no reply, but just read your post and it worked. Thanks man!

Thanks for this Savage Scotsman from a fellow Scot. Switching off App Trackers in Duck Duck Go for the BoS app solved the issue. Only problem now will be all the hundreds of trackers that will flood my phone via this banking app. Shame on BoS/Halifax/Lloyds

+ list only has WiFi Protection and Kids icons available. No list of apps. 😞
