Anyone else have no signal after update?

I updated my phone the day before and now no signal, says either emergency calls only/not registered to network. I've tried everything except a factory reset which I don't want to do as I don't want to lose anything. I know I can back up but will everything including albums go back to how they were once restored? 

My phones just over a year old, well annoyed, I used to be with iPhone and this makes me wish I never made the switch.

Same, I have the same phone, did the factory reset and nothing.  Did you ever find a fix?

Can you please share details of software version which worked for you and steps followed to downgrade. I will have to take that extreme steps for my s22 ultra.

I can confirm this method works. But still, I am going to post my steps. I literally created this Samsung community account just to post this.

My wife's Z Flip 4 got an update on 1st July 2024, after that, no service. Can't change mobile network selection to manual (it automatically changes back immediately like a glitch). Tried everything. 

Now, I had a failed attempt which is:

Assuming my wife's Phone as Phone A(which had the no service issue) and my phone as Phone B.

Failed Attempt:

- I Ejected Phone A's sim card, and tried another sim card, Didn't fixed it.

Successfull Attempt:

- I ejected BOTH Phone A's and Phone B's sim card,

- Inserted Sim B to Phone A;

- Inserted Sim A to phone B.

- A prompt came to both phones to restart it, which I did. 

- Kept it like a minute or 2,

- Then swapped BACK the Sim A to phone A and Sim B to Phone B,

- A prompt came to both phones to restart it, which I did.

- Got service on the Phone A. Fixed!!!

Thoughts: It changed something inside the sim A chip during the update I guess. When I put it inside phone B, the sim chip got reset or something maybe? Anyway. It worked.

Currently last thurs this has happend to my s21 ultra, had new sim card and disconnected and reconnected my phone, I was told todo a factory reset. But my mum passed away and am not doing it. Even backing up whatsapp you never get all the messages back, am not risking it! My sim works in any other phone perfectly fine, min I put it in mines, emergency calls only and get signal somtimes. Phones paid off now

You can use SMARTSWITCH from samsung to back your phone up to ur computer. Then do the factory reset. And again use SMARTSWTICH to restore from ur computer to phone. The phone will return to the same state as when u backed up.

U can use "SMARTSWITCH"  from Samsung to back up ur phone to ur computer. Then after u perform factory reset, you can again use SMARTSWTICH to restore ur phone from computer. The phone will return back to previous state the way it was when u backed up. However, any other conversation app(like whatsapp) may be needed to backup through the app itself

Yes!!!!! I was told it was my antenna but I have tried another s22 ultra and the same issue!!!

I'm month in and still same I have s21 ultra😩, its annoying I'm having divert all my calls to my daughters old broke phone,  I need Carry 2 phones around with me now! But an update today and still not working. I thought they would have sorted issue by now😩😩

Same has happened to my phone after an update. Its clearly a scam. I contacted samsung and we went through all the steps , still.not possible. Now they tell me to reset my phone but i cannot backup my storage as it say not found.

Samsung offered my 15% of a new handset. THIS IS A JOKE MY PHONR 2 YEARS OLD AND IF I DIDNT UPDATE MY PHONE I WOULDNT HAVE HAD THIS ISSUE. SAMSUNG SCAM.COM
