Anyone else have no signal after update?

I updated my phone the day before and now no signal, says either emergency calls only/not registered to network. I've tried everything except a factory reset which I don't want to do as I don't want to lose anything. I know I can back up but will everything including albums go back to how they were once restored?

My phones just over a year old, well annoyed, I used to be with iPhone and this makes me wish I never made the switch.

@carla333: I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue on your Galaxy S22. To troubleshoot the situation, head to Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > Access point names, and check to make sure that your network plan is registered here. If it isn't, tap the 3 dots in the top right > Reset to default, to see if this helps. Tap the Back button > Network operators > Select automatically, and make sure that this is toggled on.

If the problem persists, power off your phone, remove the SIM card and give the gold contacts a rub with a dry, microfibre cloth, then re-insert it and power the device back on. When the phone has finished booting, check the top left corner of the lock screen, where your network details should be visible.

To further troubleshoot the issue, please head to Settings > Connections > SIM card manager, and make sure that your SIM is recognised, and toggled on. Also, you may wish to head to Settings > General management > Reset > Reset network settings > Reset settings, although please be aware that this will also reset your Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings. If you continue to see the 'not registered on network' notification, then please try your SIM card in another compatible phone, as this will help to determine if the problem lies with the phone, or your SIM/network provider.

I have this problem too! My S22 Ultra got the July security update and ever since then I keep having signal trouble that I did not have before. I also have two SIMs at the moment, from two separate networks, and the symptoms are on both. Both were working fine, then I got the update, then both started having major trouble connecting. I've tried all the troubleshooting suggestions everywhere (though I also stopped short of a factory reset as I also don't want to lose how my phone is set up!) There must be a bug introduced in the update. Can Samsung please investigate this and fix it? Thanks!

Is AndrewL still here? Can this serious issue be taken up with Samsung and fixed in the next update? I still have major problems getting any mobile connection or mobile data and it's making my phone barely worth having 😭

think happened to me, today 3rd time and even factory reset didn't fix it this time.

First time reboot did the job, second factory reset but today nothing. I'm sending my phone to Samsung and keep everything crossed. I didn't even pay the phone off yet and now that.£rd time over the last few weeks, with every single software update

I have the same issue, my phone died yesterday (battery flat) recharged and restarted last night but since then, no connection to the network at all, tried all the restarts and resetting various things with no success. Galaxy s22 ultra. Looked in software to see there was an update, so did this and its still the same. When I turn off auto detect network, it searches endlessly for another and I never get a list of what it can see. It's like it's cut off completely from any network. WiFi and Bluetooth working normally

My S22FE constantly has no signal unless I turn it off and on. I have not updated, so its not that.
My wife's A52 always works fine and she is on same network.
