So far, it's better for me.
It seems the CPU is going into deep sleep more often too, and other users reported the WiFi battery drain issue has been fixed.
I got mine with 5G disabled, fingerprint sensor turned off if the screen is off, double tap to wake disabled and WiFi power saving mode (also, I can't see any differences in performance on my WiFi 6 network with it enabled) and I've easily reached the end of the day with 15% battery left including the update process itself and a good chunk of YouTube and Spotify while wearing Galaxy Buds 2.
Checking battery consumption apps, the idle consumption with the screen on and about the same brightness is around 150mA compared to at least 230mA before the update.
