My galaxy s22 ultra is unlocked. Bought directly from Samsung. I am on Beta but no update yet

I have just withdrawn from Beta. Do I need to download Android 12 first to receive update. I would be grateful for any suggestions

Check your update, if not you can back up, then roll back.to Android 12 then update to the official android 13

There is no downgrade option on Smartswitch. Oh well, I will just have to leave it. Maybe it will eventually install
