Hi folks. Is there any possible way to prevent the 4g+? 4g is fine and quicker in the sense is just stays on 4g, but it's always changing to 4g+. The signal drops, and the speed is slower. I know it can't be changed in the settings, but it's a proper headache. I put a PAYG SIM in from another carrier with just 4g, and it leaves it standing with speed and signal strength. Any help would be fantastic. Cheers

Hello 👋 @robo650

Your phobe will latch automatically onto the best signal available where you are at the time.

You do have some control in the Connections section in Settings however you can't stop the phone connecting to ⁴G+ afaik.

My phone's almost always on ⁴G+ and haven't personally experienced anything negative, especially in regards to speeds.

This may actually be a mast issue or network congestion.

If i can be of any further help please don't hesitate to ask  😎

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.

Thanks mate. Yeah, 4g is fine, but 4g+ is slow. It be better if I could stick to 1 band instead of it trying to use multiple bands, but that's not a easy thing to do.
