Cannot get the S21 Ultra to record audio for a video via the s21 usb c port

Attempting to use the S21 ultra camera to record video and use the s21 ultra usb c connector as the source for the audio.  I have numerous others trying to get this to work, with all sorts of attempted work arounds, but nothing seems to work.

How can I record video with the S21 ultra and have the audio for the video recording via the S21 ultra usb c connector?

You need to use pro video and select the microphone input

When you select MORE, then PRO VIDEO, there is no option for "external mic.", the only option is MIC OMNI.  USB, BT and BT Mix are Grayed out.

Does the mic record anything at all using the voice recorder?

Yes, but as I have stated, there is no way to turn off the internal mic. so it records audio via the internal mic.

When the S21 ultra released I had seen a reviewer do a video on how good the buds Pro were for audio quite far away from the phone for audio .
Not a direct answer to your question but something you could look into.
