Attempting to use the S21 ultra camera to record video and use the s21 ultra usb c connector as the source for the audio. I have numerous others trying to get this to work, with all sorts of attempted work arounds, but nothing seems to work.
How can I record video with the S21 ultra and have the audio for the video recording via the S21 ultra usb c connector?

Got it bl@@dy working. Using S23 with TRRS connection to the computer. Worked with Voice recorder, but not for videos in the standard camera app.
As mentioned before, the mic option in VIDEO PRO defaulted to OMNI , with FRONT and REAR also available , while USB (as well as BT and BT MIX) disabled.
Going through the settings for the app, under advanced video options, found the "Zoom-in mic" option - "match the mic zoom to the camera zoom while recording in Video mode". It was ON, and after I turned it OFF the USB mic was immediately recognised when plugged in and used.
I understand that external mics cannot follow the video zoom - but do not understand why the feature is not automatically turned off when the USB cable is plugged in, or at least a message thrown to instruct the user what to do.
I even less understand how come nobody from Samsung's "support" could have figured this one out in two years.
